Should I refrigerate it?
No — refrigeration can speed up crystallization and isn’t needed.
Does mad honey expire?
Honey is naturally stable, but each jar has a best-before date for optimal flavor and quality.
Why is the color different from another jar I tried?
Color varies naturally by:

Why does texture vary?
Raw honey can vary in thickness and may crystallize over time — this is normal.
How do I make my crystallized honey liquid again?
If you prefer a smooth, liquid texture, you can easily reliquefy your honey without damaging its natural enzymes by following these steps:
- The Warm Water Bath: Place the (tightly sealed) jar in a bowl of warm water. The water should be around 40°C (104°F).
- Stir for Speed: Every few minutes, open the jar and gently stir the honey. This helps distribute the heat evenly and speeds up the melting of the crystals.
- Monitor the Temperature: It is crucial that the honey itself does not exceed 40°C (104°F). Heating it beyond this point will destroy the unique nutrients and medicinal properties of the raw honey.
- Avoid Boiling or Microwaves: Never use boiling water or a microwave, as these methods provide uncontrolled heat that will "cook" the honey and strip it of its natural benefits.

Don’t worry! In most cases, the package is nearby. Before contacting support, please follow these steps:
1. Wait 24 Hours Sometimes couriers mark a package as "Delivered" when it has reached the local sorting hub or while it is still on the delivery truck. It often arrives the following business day.
2. Perform a "Hidden Spot" Check Couriers often try to protect your package from theft or weather by placing it out of sight. Please check:
- Behind large plants or pillars.
- Under the porch or inside the garage.
- The back door or side entrance.
- Inside your mailbox or a shared parcel locker.
3. Ask Your Neighbors It’s very common for a courier to accidentally deliver a package to a direct neighbor or for a household member to have brought the package inside without mentioning it.
4. Check for a "Pickup Notice" Check your tracking link or your physical mailbox for a notice. If the courier felt it wasn't safe to leave the package, they may have dropped it off at a local pickup point or post office for you to collect.
5. Contact the Carrier Directly If you still cannot find it, contact the shipping carrier (e.g., DHL, FedEx, UPS) immediately. They can check the delivery scan to see exactly where the driver was when they marked it as delivered.
Still no luck? If you have completed the steps above and the carrier cannot help, please email support@realmadhoney.com with your order number. We will open a formal investigation with the courier to locate your package.
Can I return my order?
We want you to be happy with your purchase, but because our honey is a food product, we must prioritize health and safety.
- Seal Requirement: We can only accept returns for products that are unopened and still in their original, intact seal. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of any jars where the seal has been broken or tampered with.
- Timeframe: You have 60 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return.
- How to proceed: Please contact our team at support@realmadhoney.com with your order number. We will review your request and guide you through the correct return process.
My jar arrived damaged — what should I do?
We take great care in packaging our honey to ensure it reaches you safely. However, if your order arrives damaged or leaking, please contact us immediately so we can make it right.

- Clear photo(s) of the damage (including the product seal and the shipping box)
Once we receive this information, our team will investigate the issue and help you with the next steps, such as a free replacement or a full refund.
Can I cancel or change my order?
If you need to make changes or cancel your order, please contact support@realmadhoney.com immediately with your order number. We will do our absolute best to accommodate your request, but please keep the following in mind:
The "Packed & Processed" Rule Once an order has been packed or processed by our fulfillment center, we are no longer able to cancel it or make any changes (such as adjusting the shipping address or product quantity).
Why can’t I cancel if my tracking says "not yet shipped"? Even if your tracking link hasn't updated yet, your order is likely already deep in our logistics chain. We work with automated fulfillment centers designed for maximum speed. Once an order is "picked and packed," it is placed inside a secured shipping container or on a pallet with thousands of other orders.
At this stage, it is physically impossible to retrieve a single box without stopping the entire shipment. Tracking numbers often only "activate" once the courier scans the entire pallet at their sorting hub, which can happen hours after your package was actually sealed.
What should I do if it’s too late to cancel? If your order is already processed, the easiest and most cost-effective solution is to refuse the package at the door when the courier attempts delivery. By refusing the delivery, the package is returned to us free of charge. Once it arrives back at our facility, we will process your refund to your original payment method.
How long will my refund take?
